Isles of Waterway Village Water Aerobics‏

ATTENTION

ALL RESIDENTS

INTERESTED IN WATER AEROBICS

We are still maintaining a regular schedule of water aerobics
classes for all residents – Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. at a
cost of $40 per month (8 classes) or $7 per one hour class. As the
weather gets cooler, we will be changing the time to later in the
morning. We are also interested in adding a class on Wednesday.
If you are interested in a Wednesday class, please let me know.

Many times the weather is either too cold or rainy. In that case,
our wonderful water aerobics instructor, Pam, has agreed to do a
fitness class either in the clubhouse or in the fitness center for an
hour in place of the water class. Just wear appropriate clothes and
shoes instead of your bathing suit. This way, we can get in some
exercise despite the weather.

Let’s show Pam our support for this fun and invigorating activity.

See you at the pool!

Any questions, call Johanna Davis at 794-4464.

WATERWAY VILLAGE UPCOMING EVENTS‏

Fasten your seat belts!! We are in for more fun-filled adventures here in the Isles of Waterway Village!!

First, next Wednesday at high noon, join Betsy Nowell and Ruthie Schamback in the Clubhouse to learn how to play that ancient Chinese game MAH JONGG. It’s a little like gin rummy, but you play with tiles; are told what hands (combinations) are allowed; and by the time you have them memorized, it’s time to learn new ones!! It’s actually fascinating and fun to learn and play!! Here’s your chance to learn at a slow and steady pace!

Our Book Club will meet on Friday, October 21, at 10:00 am in the Clubhouse. This month’s selection is Devil in the White City, by Erik Larson.

Finally, mark your Calendars, the FESTIVAL ITALIANO is Saturday, October 22nd.. It will be catered by South Beach Pizzeria serving Stuffed Shells and Meatballs; Salad; and Garlic Knots. Dessert and Beverage are included. Cost is $13.00 per person. There will be a trivia game, Italian Cities Bingo; 50-50 Raffle and prizes. Check for ticket sale dates and times!
